What Corinth glass asks for
Corinth occupies a narrow strip of southern Denton County wedged between Lewisville Lake to the east and Lake Dallas to the west. Almost nowhere in town is far from open water, and that geography does more to the windows than anything else about the place.
Water on both sides means moving air with moisture in it, and moisture is what turns settled dust into film rather than letting it blow off. Glass here hazes over in a way that reads as 'not that dirty' right up until it's cleaned properly and the difference is obvious. It's also why a dry wipe makes so little impression — the residue is bonded on, not sitting loose.
The housing itself is consistent. Most of Corinth was built out in phases through the 2000s and 2010s, so the stock is largely contemporary single-family, uniform in age and style. Practically, that means most homes here have the same window systems in the same condition — modern vinyl or aluminium-clad, still inside their seal life, and straightforward to work on.
The one thing worth watching at this age is the irrigation. Homes twenty years in have often had a sprinkler head knocked out of alignment at some point, and a head that has been spraying a window for a few seasons leaves mineral deposit that's well past the wipe-off stage.
Three things that show up on Corinth glass.
-
Lake-air film
Moisture off water on both sides bonds dust to the glass instead of letting it blow away.
-
Twenty-year-old irrigation
A head knocked out of true a few seasons ago is usually behind the spots that won't come off.
-
Consistent modern stock
Most of the town was built through the 2000s and 2010s, so the windows are largely still inside their seal life.

Corinth questions, answered.
-
My windows don't look that dirty. Is a clean worth it?
Near the lakes, usually yes. Humid air bonds a fine film onto the glass that reads as normal until it's off — the honest answer is that most people here don't realize how much light they were losing.
-
Do you cover Lake Dallas, Shady Shores and Hickory Creek too?
Yes. The lake cities are all inside our normal route, so the trip isn't a surcharge.
-
Can you sort out the spots a sprinkler has left?
Usually. Mineral deposit comes off if it's caught before it etches. We'll tell you which one you're dealing with when we come out, and it's worth getting the head realigned either way.
